Constructed from a full barstock 6061 aluminium construction, the reel provides strength and phenomenal durability. Whilst ensuring rigidity, the reel maintains a lightweight due to it’s minimalist design.

The reel has a concealed twin Rulon disc drag system that delivers smooth and reliable operation and offers optimal protection for long lasting use. The large arbour spool helps increase line retrieve speeds and provides a bigger capacity for more than enough backing.

For easy and quick change over of your spools, the reel has a captive spool release to make this effortless. Each reel is also supplied with a neoprene pouch to allow for easy and convenient transportation.

The GX1000 is finished off in a stunning dark chrome coloured body with vibrant red highlight accents throughout.
